The protest program in Birgunj crippled the lives of normal beings. The District Administration declared curfew in Birgunj from 4 pm noon after the clash between the protesters and police. The curfew order is issued from 4 pm this noon and it will remain effective until further information



 The police even used a dozen of tear gas shells and fired into the air to prevent the protesters and cadres from creating further clash.The protest program was staged by Madhes-centric parties against proposed demarcation of federal units in the new constitution. The situation remained out of control today in Birgunj when the protesters of Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha and security personnel started to create havoc. A person died after police opened fire at him for defying curfew in Birgunj of Parsa on Monday. Dozens of protesters and the security personnel are injured.
