National Disabled Federation has organized a harmony rally in the capital on Tuesday urging everyone to maintain peace and calm among the people. The rally had ferried Bhrikuti Mandap, Padmodaya, Bhadrakali before it was converted into a mass assembly in Bhrikuti Mandap. The Federation has been demanding to guarantee the rights of every individual including technical groups, Madhesi, Muslim, women, backward community and other suppressed communities in the new constitution.

The rally was organized, especially, to end the ongoing technical and regional protests in the nation, informed the participants of the rally. Through the placards, the participants have also demanded of national unity, people friendly constitution be promulgated, appropriate exit of present caste based and regional protests in the nation. According to the chairman of Democratic Disabled Federation, Bhojraj Shrestha, the rally is organized with a view to maintain cordial relationship among the people in the nation by ending the ongoing caste discrimination spread in the nation among the people who had been united for a long.
National Disabled Federation has organized such a rally at a time when the people from Madhesh, Tharuhat, Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal and other groups are in the protest citing their dissatisfaction over the division of provision.
