A woman in Taiwan called police after she checked in on her neighbors and there was no response from within the house for several days. The woman said that the couple’s children had called her after they were unable to reach their parents on the phone.
Police broke into the house to discover the 56 year old husband dead in his bed from multiple stab wounds. The wife, age 49, they found in the bathroom. She’d died from carbon monoxide poisoning from the water heater after she’d purposefully sealed the windows and doors of the bathroom.
Mrs. Luo, the wife, had left a suicide note explaining she’d killed her husband after discovering he’d been having an affair. She’d been contacted by the mistress after the mistress realized she was pregnant with Mr. Luo’s child.
Mrs. Luo had then drugged her husband and stabbed him to death. Police collected two knives and a pair of scissors stained with blood from the residence.
After killing her husband, Mrs. Luo had committed suicide. She’d left instructions for her children in the suicide note and explained she couldn’t bear to live without her husband and she couldn’t go through the scandal of a divorce.
