We live in strange world we don’t know what are we up to sometime we hear really unbelievable news which makes us amused and sometime we come to hear some shocking news which shrinks our heart. A baby boy has been born with three arms due to a unusual provision which affects one in a million infants. The baby was born with his right arm in the normal place, but two arms on his left side. He was taken to Ahmedabad Civil Hospital in Gujarat, India, in December, where doctors carried out a practice to remove the extra limb when he was just over two weeks old.
The boy, who is formerly from Bhavnagar, also in Gujarat, suffers from a rare condition called Polymelia, which causes a person to be born with extra limbs, often arms or legs. The rare disarray occurs in the womb when the cells form abnormally during embryonic development. The embryo begins to develop as conjoined twins. But one twin stops growing, leaving the remaining developments often limbs of the undeveloped twin attached to the body of the live baby.
The head doctors of pediatrics surgery at the hospital performed a procedure to take out the extra limb on Wednesday, December 17. The procedure was successfully done. It was really amazing the Doctors took their responsibility with so gracefulness and the boy was safely operated. This is not the first time we hear about this kind of news but it is a rare case and the baby boy was successfully operated. Previously we had also heard about conjoined twins and many other rare cases but it most be the lucky case he was successfully treated and is recovering slowly
